Amazon Associates
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Shopper-visible Amazon PDP links must land on amazon.com PDP paths that include storefront tag techfindszo01-20, mirror the approved Amazon Affiliate URL in AFFILIATE_LINK_MAP.csv, avoid shorteners and cloaked redirects, and repeat the verbatim disclosure sentence beside the retailer module that carries those buttons.
How affiliate links are handled
Affiliate links are a separate publishing step—not the reason a product appears.
A link appears only after listing match, tracking rules, disclosure requirements, and our product checks are satisfied.
What readers should expect
If affiliate links are added, Better Buy Lab may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate relationships should not erase important caveats or safer alternatives.
Current public-site status
Amazon Associates buttons are constrained to AFFILIATE_ACTIVATION_MANIFEST.json routes whose SKUs are approved in AFFILIATE_LINK_MAP.csv. Today those manifest routes include /tv/best-tvs/ and /tv/best-oled-tvs/. PDP modules omit live prices, scraped Amazon imagery, scraped star aggregates, shopper review schema extensions, speculative stock messaging, and commerce-grade Product or Offer JSON-LD we disallow on pilot guides.
Comparison pages (/compare/*), standalone product notes (/reviews/*) outside the pilot, and hubs outside the manifest stay commerce-anchor-free unless a documented rollout expands scope.
Why this matters
It is easy to build a site where every block is a buy button. We keep recommendations readable before shopping tools appear.
Trust comes first; affiliate partnerships follow only when retailer links stay accurate and clearly labeled.
Related policies
These pages work together—methodology explains how we choose, verification explains what must clear before shopping tools, editorial policy covers updates, and affiliate disclosure covers storefront relationships.
